Sarah is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner born and raised in Birmingham, AL. She received her first Bachelor’s of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience/Psychology at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. During this time, she underwent emergency medical technician training and continued to pursue her passion for healthcare. Following graduation, she worked at a private OB/GYN clinic as a medical assistant in Washington, DC where her passion for women’s healthcare took root. She received her second Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Emory University and from there, gained registered nurse experience in both the fertility and psychiatric settings. She graduated with her Master’s of Science in Nursing at Emory University with a specialization in Women’s Health in 2020.
Sarah’s specific interests include hereditary breast and ovarian cancers, preventative gynecologic care, fertility, mental health awareness and contraceptive management. Outside of work, Sarah loves exploring farmer’s markets, the beltline, and Piedmont Park. She is currently working on mastering her macaron recipe and other baking endeavors. But, you can usually find her spending time with her new husband and their close friends. She is very excited to join the team at Kennesaw Gynecology where they truly treat their patients like family.
