About Caroline Long

Caroline is a Nurse Practitioner at Kennesaw Gynecology. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Sciences with a focus in Nutrition. She received her Master’s in Nursing Science degree from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2019 with a specialization in Women’s Health. During her studies, Caroline completed clinical rotations in areas such as menopausal care, sexual dysfunction, gynecologic oncology, and OB/GYN. She believes her clinical experiences allow her to bring a comprehensive perspective to her practice, thus enabling her to provide each of her patients with high quality care and services.

Caroline says she chose women’s health because she believes that all women have the right to access high quality reproductive health care. Her goal is to provide women with exceptional care, services, and resources as a way to empower them to prioritize their overall health and wellness. Her interests include preventative medicine, adolescent health, family planning, menopausal care, and sexual dysfunction. Her services include annual well-woman exams, problem-focused visits, contraception counseling and management, long acting reversible contraception (LARC) insertion and removal, and endometrial biopsies.

Caroline is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner through the National Certification Corporation. She is a current member of the Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health Organization and plans to continue her membership as a way to keep up with the most current evidence-based practice guidelines. She is excited to be a part of the Kennesaw Gynecology team and looks forward to serving the women of the greater Atlanta area.

In her free time, Caroline enjoys exercising, hiking, traveling, baking, and spending time with her husband, family and friends. She moved to Atlanta at the end of last year and says she is enjoying getting to explore and learn more about her new city.
